La manzana de coco se forma cuando un coco cae de la mata y al cabo de los meses el agua en su interior se transforma en una esponja que nutre y ayuda a germinar una nueva planta que se va a convertir en otro cocotero. Solamente se puede comer en las primeras etapas de germinaci\u00f3n, cuando la manzana tiene de 3 a 15 cm, es decir el tallo debe tener alrededor de 25 cm para obtener una manzana de coco en su mejor etapa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
